Refund Policy
This Refund Policy sets out how Kaskade Payment Solution Inc., a corporation organised under the laws of the Republic of Panama, with its registered office at Torre Advanced Building, 1st Floor, Calle Ricardo Arias, Bella Vista, Panama City, Postal Code 08230, Republic of Panama (trading as "Kaskade Pay", "Company", "we", "our", or "us"), handles refunds and reversals in connection with the Services. This Policy supplements, and forms part of, Clause 13 of our Terms of Service. Capitalised terms not defined in this Policy have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
1. NO REFUNDS
1.1 General Policy
Kaskade Pay does not offer refunds under any circumstances. All transactions processed through the Services are final and non-refundable.
1.2 Why
Blockchain transactions are irreversible once the required confirmations have been received. Kaskade Pay does not control, and cannot reverse, alter, or compel the return of, a transaction once it has been broadcast to the relevant blockchain network. A transaction may be initiated by a Merchant, for example when withdrawing or transferring Digital Assets, or by a Merchant’s own customer, for example when paying that Merchant for goods or services. Kaskade Pay has no control over, and is not a party to, the choice of wallet address, Digital Asset, transaction amount, or counterparty made by whichever of those persons initiates the transaction, and it is those choices that this Policy relates to.
1.3 No Exceptions
This no refund policy applies regardless of the reason for a request, including, without limitation:
- A Merchant, or a Merchant’s customer, sending funds to an incorrect, mistyped, or unintended wallet address.
- A Merchant, or a Merchant’s customer, sending an unsupported or incorrect Digital Asset.
- A change of mind, or a dispute about a purchase, decision, or transaction.
- Dissatisfaction with a Merchant’s goods or services.
- Fluctuation in the market value of a Digital Asset between the date of a transaction and the date of any subsequent request.
- Delay, congestion, or a fee charged by the underlying blockchain network.
2. MERCHANT CUSTOMER DISPUTES
Kaskade Pay contracts with the Merchant only. Kaskade Pay has no contractual relationship with, and does not contract with, a Merchant’s own customers. Where a complaint concerns goods or services supplied by a Merchant to its customer, that dispute is between the Merchant and its customer. Kaskade Pay is not a party to that underlying transaction and does not adjudicate, mediate, or refund on account of it, consistent with Clause 13.2 of the Terms of Service.
3. UNSUPPORTED ASSETS
Digital Assets sent to an unsupported wallet address, or in a Digital Asset not supported by Kaskade Pay, may be permanently unrecoverable. Kaskade Pay is under no obligation to attempt recovery. Any assistance Kaskade Pay elects to provide in such a case is offered entirely at its discretion, on a no obligation basis, and does not constitute a refund, a reversal, or an admission of liability.
4. FEES
Fees charged by Kaskade Pay, and network fees incurred in processing a transaction, are non-refundable in all circumstances.
5. RELATIONSHIP TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE
This Policy should be read together with Clause 13 of the Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.
